2024 Class Information
Gates Open at 10:00am, Time Trials start at 5:00pm. Run Order: No Box, Box, Jr. Dragster, Motorcycle, Sportsman ( Quick Qualifying round will run after time trials)
Box: Entry Fee – $65 / Buyback $30 – 4.00 to 7.99 dial-in, 1/8th mile. Delay boxes permitted.
No Box: Entry Fee – $40 / Buyback $20 – Delay Box MUST Be Out Of The Car. Transbrakes, air or electric shifters, two-steps, line-locks PERMITTED . Delay boxes, throttle stops PROHIBITED.
Jr. Dragster (ages 7-17) : Entry Fee – $20 / Buyback $10 – See IHRA rulebook for complete rules on Jr. Dragsters.
Motorcycle: Entry Fee – $40 / Buyback $20 – 4.00 to 7.99 dial-in, 1/8th mile. Delay boxes permitted – Payout 80/20 Split
Sportsman: 12.00 and slower 1/4 – 7.40 and slower 1/8.
Competition is limited to full bodied entries.
Automated Shifter: Prohibited unless EOM.
Data recorders are prohibited.
Delay Boxes, trans-brakes, 4- wheel line lock prohibited. Two – wheel line lock permitted on non-drive wheels only.
Ignition: Stutter boxes prohibited. Single stage (high side only) rev limiters permitted. Starting line rev limiters prohibited. Two step rev limiter prohibited, any other rpm limiting devices installed so as to function as a down-track rpm controller are prohibited.
Switches & buttons: All switches and/or buttons must be standard mechanical connection type.
Throttle Control: Throttle must be manually operated by the drivers foot. Electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics or any other device may in no way affect the throttle operation. A fixed stop under carburetor or gas pedal in permitted. Throttle times, staging controllers and counters prohibited.
Open exhaust headers and racing slicks permitted at the Summit Super Series World Finals.
Gary Faulkner Quick 8/12/16/24/32: Must make qualifying pass. Cars will be run on ladder. $75 Entry.
Time Trials / Run for the Money
We will have 2 time trials per class. Following the second time trial we will run a Run for the Money for a $10 entry fee, and 50% of the entries are paid out to the winner. The winner will be the driver with the best package. (During Summer Hours, Time permitting)
Track Points Program
The cost to enter the track points is $20. In order to compete in the Summit Super Series and be eligible for the IHRA Bracket Finals team, you must be signed up for points.
You get 10 show up points, and 10 points for each round you win. You must take the tree in the first round of eliminations to earn points. Buyback rounds do not earn points.
Bye Runs
Bye Runs will be drawn by cards first round. The first card drawn is the lane and the second card drawn is how many cars back. After first round the bye is based on best reaction time.
